How to make pudding using Agar Agar :

Agar Agar will be available any Asian Grocery Stores and Health Food Stores. It will be avaiable in strands as well as in powder form.

In this video i have used powder one, it will reduce the time also as compared to strands.

If you are using strands to making pudding this is the process, you need to follow.

Cut the agar agar strands into smaller pieces using a scissor.

Boil ½ cup water in a small pan. Switch off the heat and soak agar agar for 10-15 minutes.

Meanwhile in another pot mix milk and sugar and bring mixture to a boil.

Now add agar agar liquid and mix well. Cook for 5 mins until agar agar completely dissolves.  Switch off the heat.

Then add rose syrup and mix well.

Pour into mould

Let the mixture cool down at room temperature for about half an hour, then transfer to the fridge and chill for at least 2 hours.

Cut into slices and serve.

Note : If we don’t have rose syrup, we can also add rose essence for color add pink food coloring.

For Vegans, use Soy Milk or almond milk or coconut milk as an alternative to dairy milk.
