Ingredients

  • 4 Small Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Grean peas
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1/2 Cup Corn
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Amchur powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chat masala
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • Water

Instructions 

Preparation

  • Steam or boil veggies until fork tender.

Method

  • Add the boiled veggies to mixing bowl.
  • Mash them well
  • Add ginger, red chili powder, coriander powder, chat masala, amchur powder, garam masala , coriander leaves and poha powder
  • Mix every thing well to make a smooth dough. If needed, add more poha powder or bread crumbs to make it non sticky dough.

How to make Cutlets

  • Dived the cutlet dough into small portions.
  • Grease the palms with oil. Roll the dough to balls.
  • Then flatten them gently and make thick patties.
  • In another plate add bread crumbs for the crispy crust. Set aside.
  • Add corn flour to a bowl. Pour water just enough to make a slightly thin batter.
  • Next dip the cutlet into batter on both sides.
  • Then place on the bread crumbs. Gently coat them with the crumbs all over.

  • Place them back on plate. Repeat for remaining.

Frying the Cutlets

  • Heat 4 tsp of oil to wide fry pan.
  • When the oil is hot, gently place the cutlets in pan.
  • Fry them on both the sides until golden and crisp.
