That jaggery is added just as a taste enhancer and is not mandatory. It should be skipped if the malt is served for diabetic patients. Finally, the malt thickens quickly and has to be served immediately. If you are serving it later, make sure to reduce the thickness.Milk can be added for kids more than a year old.
