coconut coriander chutney for Dosa Idli|కొత్తిమీర కొబ్బరి పచ్చడి | Kothimira-Pachadi
This green cilantro coconut chutney is another variation of chutney that goes well with idli, dosa, vada, uttapam, upma or other South Indian tiffin snacks.
1/2cupfresh coconutchopped into small pieces or grated
1bunchcoriander leaves
1small lemon sizedtamarind
2tbsproasted chana dal
salt as needed
1tspcumin seeds
1/2inchginger
2green chilli
Seasoning
1tbspoil
1/2tspurad dal
1/2tspchana dal
1/2tspcumin seeds
1/2tspmustard seeds
1red chili
fewcurry leaves
Instructions
Grind together all ingredients mentioned above for chutney. Add small quantities of water to assist in grinding and to get the desired consistency. Remove and set aside in a bowl.
transfer into bowl.
Take a pan add oil.
once oil is hot add seasonings. fry until golden
Tadka is ready, pour it into the chutney immediately. Mix it in.
