A popular snack, very similar to pie is prepared from puff pastry sheets. Once, you have the ‘Puff Pastry Sheets’, then all you need the mixed vegetable filling and you’re good to go.

Ingredients
1tbspButter
1/2CupChopped onion
2Boiled potatoes
2tbspChopped carrots
1/4CupSweet Corn
1/4CupGreen peas
1/2tspCumin powder
1/2tspRed chili powder
1/2tspAmchur Powder
1/2tspChat masala
4Frozen Wheat Puff pastry sheets
1tbspMilk

Instructions
Stuffing
In a large kadai, heat butter.
Add onions and salt. Saute for a min.
Add chopped carrots, sweet corn, green peas . Mix well.
Add boiled potatoes .
Add red chili powder, cumin powder, amchur powder and chat masala . Mix well.
Cook on low heat for 5 mins with lid closed.
Open the lid and mash little bit using spatula.
Puffs preparing
Take the pastry sheet and sheets should be at room temperature
cut to rectangle pieces.
place the prepared stuffing in the centre.
Fold half, press and seal the sides.
Now place in the baking tray.
Brush the puff with Milk for more golden colour.
Bake the puffs in preheated oven at 400 F for 25 minutes.
veg puffs or veg patties is ready to serve with tomato ketchup
Notes
Add vegetables of your choice to vary the stuffing.
For vegan we can use oil in place of butter, we can use any type of milk rather than regular milk.
