Ingredients
4Eggs
1CupPowdered sugar
1CupMaida/all purpose flour
1tspBaking powder
1/4tspSalt
1/2CupOil
1/2tspVanilla extract
1PacketM&M gems
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda , powdered sugar and salt. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, break the eggs to a small bowl and beat well.
Then add oil and vanilla extract, beat for 1 more mins.
Gently fold in the flour and mix until everything is well combined there are no large flour pockets in the batter. Do not over mix at this stage.
Grease the small round katoris(steel bowls) with oil and dust with some flour. or you may also line it with a parchment paper for easy handling.
Transfer the batter into that bowls . Gently tap to remove the air bubbles.
Top with M&Ms.
Pre heat the kadai for 5 mins in medium flame. Place a stand.
Place the prepared bowls and cover it with lid.
Cook for 30 min on low flame
Test the cake by inserting a toothpick or knife.
Remove the cake and allow the cake to cool down completely.
Once cooled using a knife clear the edges and transfer the cake on a serving plate.
Cut into half ,super soft and moist cake perfectly fluffed up in the baked cake .
It is a perfect cake to accompany a cup of Tea or Coffee.
Notes
You also can make regular sponge cake from this batter.
In place of M&M we can use any topping like Choco chips, nuts..
