ROSE MILK PUDDING WITH AGAR AGAR | EGGLESS MILK PUDDING
A special dish, rose pudding without gelatin / agar agar. It is one of my favorites. I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Ingredients
2cupsMilk
2tspAgar agar
1/4cupWater
2/3cupSugar
2tbspRose syrup
Some chopped pistachioFor garnish
Instructions
Take a small bowl and add 2 tsp agar agar powder. Mix with 1/4 cup water and keep aside for 5 mins.
Take 2 cups milk (Whole milk or 2% milk or heavy cream) in a medium saucepan and add 2/3 cup granulated sugar. Mix well
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves.
Add agar agar mixture, melt in low flame till completely dissolved. Switch off flame.
Finally add 2 tbsp rose syrup (Rooh Afza Rose Favor Syrup) and mix well.
Pour in a mould
Sprinkle top with crushed or chopped pistachios and edible rose petals.
Refrigerate for 2 hour until set.
If you touch it should not stick to the finger. Demold and Cut into pieces.
Serve and enjoy
Notes
For Vegans, use Soy Milk or almond milk or coconut milk as an alternative to dairy milk.
Agar Agar acts as a laxative agent. So do not consume desert in large quantity that is made with the agar agar.
Asian Grocery Stores and Health Food Stores carry Agar Agar in strands as well as in powder form.
