HOW TO MAKE ONION POWDER:
Peel the skin of the onion and slice thinly.
Spread the sliced onions on a large plate.
Sun dry for 4 days or until it turns crisp. you can alternatively place in the oven at 60-70 degree celsius if you are leaving in a cold climate.
Transfer the dried onions into a blender, and blend to a fine powder.
Onion powder is ready to use .
HOW TO MAKE GINGER POWDER:
Peel the skin of ginger and grate.
Spread the grated ginger on a large plate.
Sundry for 4 days or until it turns crisp. you can alternatively place in the oven at 60-70 degree celsius if you are leaving in a cold climate.
Transfer the dried ginger into a blender, and blend to a fine powder.
Ginger powder is ready to use .
HOW TO MAKE GARLIC POWDER:
Peel the skin of garlic and finely chop. you can use a food processor to chop easily.
Spread the chopped garlic on a large plate.
Sundry for 4 days or until it turns crisp. you can alternatively place in the oven at 60-70 degree celsius if you are leaving in a cold climate.
Transfer the dried garlic into a blender, and blend to a fine powder.
Garlic powder is ready to use
Notes
Make sure to chop, grate or slice as thin as possible. it helps to sun dry quickly.
Sun dry really well to increase the shelf life of spice powder for up to 6 months.
These recipe powders can be stored in an airtight container.
