Drumstick curry is a popular south Indian / Andhra Delicacy. Fresh and mature drumsticks are used for thus preparation. For gravy I have used sesame seeds and rice to get rich gravy and tasty. It is spicy tasty creamy curry.
Drumsticks are a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and dietary fiber. They are widely used in many Indian recipes in combination with other vegetables like tomato, potatoes etc. I suggest not to use tender once or they will split down while mixing.

- They’re anti-inflammatory
- They’re good for your heart
Grind the sesame seeds, rice, red chili and garlic to smooth paste. This paste will be little thick, but it is creamy and tasty. Not only tasty it is very healthy too. This curry is very good with hot steamed rice with ghee.

How to make Drumstick Sesame Seeds Curry with Step by Step :
1.Soak sesame seeds and rice for 1 hrs
2.Chop the ends off the mulakkada.
3.Cut the mulakkada into 2″ pieces.
1.Grind soaked sesame seeds, rice, red chilies, garlic and salt.
2.Blend into smooth paste. Keep a side
3.Heat oil in a pan
4.Add seasoning mix and fry for a min.
5.Add hing, turmeric and curry leaves .
6.Add drumsticks and water. Boil for 10 mins or till the drumstick is well cooked.
7.Add ground paste to drumsticks and little water. Mix well.
8.Cook on low flame. Mix continuously otherwise it will burn at bottom
9.Cook until desired consistency
10.Serve with hot rice
